Towle Louis XIV - Sterling Silver - Bread Bowl Dish Tray # 5887 - Antique 1919+A very well preserved piece, this bread dish measures approximately 12-1/4\" in length x 6-3/4\" in width. Weight is just under 11 ounces on my scale / approximately 300 grams of Sterling Silver. Though this piece is fairly rare, most I have researched weigh less (they have had more burnishing activity). No dings or dents. Only the slightest of scratching. Exquisite detail, still displaying subtleties of the die engraver 100 years ago. First made in 1920. On the reverse reads:
