This is a Collector QualityTraditionalHuipil from Chinantec region of San Felipe Usila in Northern Oaxaca Mexico. This particular Huipil was the traditional style Wedding dress for women from this community until recent years.

This Huipil is all Hand Woven on a Back Strap loom.And there is a wonderful Youtube video of a weaver from this region.

I am tempted to keep this Huipil for myself!!!

The Base fabric isa White with the patterns done in Red, & Black.
