This beautiful presentation of Hamilton Mint\'s Tribute to Picasso \"The Tragedy\" is in the original seal. The piece is really lovely. The plate is listed as 10 Ounces of Silver, and is 8 1/4\" in size. I cannot weigh it outside the box as it is in sealed setting - but others are listed and weigh 10 oz.
The only condition problem is that on the back of the presentation setting moisture must have gotten in at some point and there is slight mildew on the back of the box (see the photo of the back of the setting) - it has NOT come around to the front of the sealed setting. I believe the setting could be opened and the back of the box cleaned - but I do not want to be the one to do it.
As you can see - the piece has been left in the setting for 45 years and so the silver is tarnished - I do not know the standard for keeping such a piece so I am leaving it as is for the future owner to care for.
This comes in the original presentation box with the outer box included as well - it is in great condition with one corner tear on the back of the box. I have not seen any for sale with both the presentation setting box, and the intact outer box.
