Vintage tools are often the preferred tools of the professional leather craftsman. These tools were sometimes made in factories, such as Craftool, and sometimes they were made by the leather craftsman who just needed a particular tool. The factories where many of these were once made no longer exists and thus these older tools have become highly collectible, not just because they are no longer made, but because they work. There are still many such tools in use today. In fact, there is still more leatherwork being done today with these old tools than any other brand available.

This is a set of 3 vintage swivel knives with a total of 4 blades. The blades included are 3/8\" straight (2), 1/4\" angled, and a 3/8\" beader blade. The swivel knives are older and show some signs of use. They look like classic Craftool swivel knives. One of them is adjustable in length. All of the blades look pretty good but could use some touching up. They are definitely some older blades, so the steel in them is probably as good or better than much of what you find today. The Beader Blade is a RARE find and cuts a beautiful 1/16\" wide bead. This will be a very handy and useful set and will be a great addition to some leather worker\'s collection.
