For sale is an ignition / starter switch for a Triumph TR7 or TR8. It was removed from a TR7 with low miles. It works perfectly, the action is tight and the return spring is strong. It gives every indication it has had very little use.
When the switch fails it can drive you crazy, causing intermittent stalling, accessories intermittent failures, and non-starting among the many issues. All along you will think the problem is something else.
Get this as a spare and keep it in the trunk. It is very easy to unplug yours and put the spare in to test and see if it is the problem. Sooner or later you will need this item. I drove the car it was removed from and assure you it works perfectly.
This part will fit all TR7 and TR8 models from 77 through 81. It will not fit 75 and most 76 models. For 76 model year, look at the number of pin connections.
