True Vintage 1950s silver metal weave box bag, Lucite top. Rockabilly. 50s 60s :

Original 1950s box bag. This lovely little bag is made from a woven silver tone metal. It is lined in purple rayon and has a dark grey/blackish lucite lid with clear lucite handle.The bag is a classic evening bag in a great practical size. These bags were very popular during the era. They also make great gifts and are ideal as jewellery or trinket boxes.
CONDITION
SOLD AS IS- DAMAGEDLook at all of the pictures carefully. Condition is reflected in the low starting price.

The back panel at the top has come away from the rest of the bag, if you are handy with a glue gun or soldering iron this can easily be fixed
A little wonky at the front and on the base
A chip in one corner of the lucite top
Some light scratches/marks to the metal frame- base is worn (to be expected)
The lining is discoloured in areas
Needs TLC/restoration to be safely usable.
