Turn-of-the-century Barong Dance Mask Carved Wood From Bali:
This dance mask was hand made in Bali, for ceremonial dancing. The ears 'plug in' and the tongue is designed to hang from twine, for movement. It has original paint and a slightly menacing look. Someone printed 'Bali' on the inside of mask with indelible marker. Most likely, it was the previous owner. If you have a collection of masks, you'll definitely want to add this one. The closest example I have found online, very similar to this one, claims their's is museum quality and they are asking a small fortune. If that is accurate, this is a steal.
