Color: Both the sameDeep Brownish-black - They appear to be stained.

These are in nearly fine shape with nice consistent aged patina.
We acquired them from my 89 year old husband\'s mom around 1962. My hubbyremembers these from the early 1950s--which is as far back as we could date the pieces--no idea when his mom got them.
