Thank you for viewing one of our Humane Society of Tuolumne County(HSOTC) sale items. All of the itemslisted have been donated to help support our mission of finding homes forabandoned, abused, and unwanted animals, promote humane education, and maintaina clean and safe Environment for homeless animals awaiting adoption. All proceeds received from this sale willgo toward the care and well-being of our shelter animals. Because item condition on these donations vary,we have taken the time to go over each and every item and noted any flaws ordefects in the items to the best of our ability. If, however, something has not been indicated,we ask that you let us know so we can take corrective action.
The HSOTC, a no-kill, limited intake facility, has been facilitatingadoptions for companion animals since 1947. The shelter has consistently foundhomes for an average of 475 cats and dogs per year and on average our daily complement of animals atour facility is 42 cats and dogs. Ourstaff and dedicated volunteers work tirelessly to care for these animals,providing them food, exercise, medical care, vaccinations, and love until ourresidents find their new forever home. Lastyear we adopted 144 cats and 261 dogs; provided the means to spay or neuter 438animals; furnished in excess of $8600 in medical care, medical supplies, andmedications; funded over $22000 to spay/neuter HSOTC shelter animals beforeadoption and offset the costs associated with our low-income spay & neuterprograms; and supplied food and shelter for evacuated dogs and cats during ourarea’s Rim Fire. All of thisaccomplished with a volunteer Board and limited staff.
