Backstamp features a crown-wearing lion standing atop a crown. The bottom crown rests upon a double circle with \"Royal Doulton Hotelware\" stamped within the outer circle, and an emblem stamped within the inner circle. Below the circles is the stamp \"ENGLAND STEELITE\". Estimated manufacture date: Pre-1983 when Steelite International was established. Exact date is unknown.
Made of heavy vitrified china. Geometric border of daisies enclosed in brown rectangles.Good condition. Normal restaurant wear - some utensil marks and/or scratches. No chips or cracks.Some manufacturing flaws (see pictures).
