A fantastic iconic store and structure on Woodward in downtown Detroit . For years a landmark and a dream to shop , eat at the restaurants , explore each floor of magic and wonder . To visit was a dream to a kid from the 30s to the 70s . Window displays stopped traffic and for years dominated the city center . A city inside a city and just a fantastic place to shop or eat or just visit .
