TWO Vintage Sewing Kits MINT GOLD EMBOSSED & CALVERT Bullet Shaped Advertising:

This listing is for two vintage, bullet shaped, Sewing Kits.Both have a thimble, pins, needles and thread.

The gold embossed sewing kit is MINT condition and is covered with beautiful scroll work. The upper area has the Dutch words:

\"GESCHENKENHULS VERDOSS\" stamped in black.

Geschenkenhuls means \'Gift in Sheath\' but I don\'t know what Verdoss means (a company name perhaps). It measures 3/4\" wide x 2\" long (5\" long with tassel).

The yellow Calvert Sewing Kit is3/4\" wide x 1-7/8\" long (5-3/4\" with tassel). It has a few tiny enamel chips on the top and bottom edge of the upper portion of the kit and a very tiny bit of superficial surface rust on the upper lip of the bottom. The tassle is in mediocre conditon. This sewing kit reads:
