First FactoryVariation/Mistake: Dolphin tags on Whale

The black and white Whale and the subject of this listing have the name tag which states: \"Echo\" - Style #4180 but should read \"Waves\" - Style #4084. Date of Birth: 12-8-96. The Dolphin tags for “Echo” were attached to the wrong Beanie Baby at the factory. The Whale which is the subject of this listing has the wrong name tags. It is NOT a Dolphin and should not have been labeled with the Dolphin’s Hang and Tush Tags!

Second FactoryVariation/Mistake: Hang Tag

The Dolphin tags placed on the mislabeled Whale are not the same as the tags placed onour authentic Dolphin by the factory. The “Echo the Dolphin” Hang Tag mistakenly placed on the Whale is a 4th Generation tag with the yellow star – i’s not crossed and Date in numbers. It is not the 5th Generation tag on our authentic “Echo” the Dolphin with yellow star, ‘i’ crossed and Month (December)written in full.

Third FactoryVariation/Mistake: Tush Tag

The Echo the Dolphin Tush Tag mistakenly placed on the Whale is a 3rd Generation tag. There is no star next to the heart. The Echo the Dolphin Tush Tag placed upon our authentic Dolphin is a 6th Generation looped tag withthe star and® (the “r”) after Collection.

FourthVariation/Mistake:

The mislabeled Whale contains PVC pellets. The actual Dolphin is filled with PE pellets.

Conclusion:

In our analysis, we believe the factory madefour mistakes or allowed variations that make our situation “very rare”. 1- The Orca Whale has the Dolphin tags on it. 2 & 3The DolphinHang and Tush tags mistakenly placed on the Whale are not the same Generation tags as the Hang and Tushtag the factory placed on our authentic Dolphin. 3- Additionally both our mislabeled Whale andour proper Whale have PVC pellets and the Dolphin has PE pellets.

Finally, in the interests of full disclosure, the Hang Tag on this mislabeled beanie baby had a retail store tag pasted over the UPC. The retailer’s SKU/price tag had to be removed in order to read the UPC and validate this claim. It was discarded as being of no value. Consequently, the Hang Tag has a very slight residue from the retail “sticker placed there by the store from which this was purchased. In every other respect, this Orca Whale mislabeled as a Dolphin is Mint with Mint tags MWMT.
