I REALIZE THIS IS A BITLONG WINDED BUT BEAR WITH ME…

PLEASE READ BEFORE offerDINGFOR INFO ABOUT DESCRIPTION, CONDITION, SHIPPING, COMBINED SHIPPING, PAYMENT,SHIPPING METHODS AND OTHER IMPORTANT STUFF. SELLER IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FORINFO LISTED BELOW THAT BUYER DID NOT READ. I REALIZE THIS IS SOMEWHATLENGTHY BUT I WON’T BE HELD RESPONSIBLE BY A BUYER OR BY FOR SOMETHINGTHAT I HAVE TAKEN THE TIME TO WRITE HERE THAT THE POTENTIAL BUYER DOESN’T READ.REALLY, THERES NOTHING UNREASONABLE HERE AND SOME OF IT MAY HELP YOUR DECISIONTO BUY FROM ME (OR NOT).

YOU ARE NOT BUYING COMICBAGS OR SLEEVES FROM ME; YOU ARE BUYING A COMIC BOOK OR COMIC BOOKS. YOU WILLGET A BAGGED AND MAYBE EVEN A BOARDED COMIC(S) BUT YOURE NOT PAYING FOR THIS. IKEEP GETTING “COMMENTS” THAT STATE THE WAY I SECURE COMICS MAKES THE BAG/SLEEVEHARD TO REUSE OR THE TAPE IS DIFFICULT TO GET OFF. OK… I CAN EITHER SECURE THECOMIC YOU MAYBE PAID A LOT OF MONEY FOR AND MAKE SURE IT DOESN’T MOVE DURINGSHIPPING OR I CAN SHIP IT LOOSE IN THE SHIPPING PACKAGE AND MAYBE YOU WILLRECEIVE A DAMAGED COMIC BECAUSE WE ALL KNOW THAT THE POST OFFICE DOESN’T GIVEONE FLYING S**T ABOUT YOUR PACKAGE. THEN YOU WILL HAVE A NICE COMIC BAG/SLEEVETO USE BUT YOU WILL PROBABLY PROCEED TO LEAVE ME NEGATIVE response AND DEMANDYOUR MONEY BACK AND WE DON’T WANT THAT DO WE??? IF THE BAG/SLEEVE IS THATIMPORTANT TO YOU THEN WRITE ME BEFORE YOU PAY FOR THE ITEM AND I WILL BEMORE THAN HAPPY TO INCLUDE AN EXTRA BAG OR TWO FOR FREESIES. WE COOL?

ORDER MULTIPLE ITEMS ANDCOMBINE SHIPPING COSTS. I WONT CHARGE YOU ANY MORE THAN $8.00 FOR ECONOMY(MEDIA MAIL) SHIPPING (UP TO 20LBS) AND RARELY MORE THAN $16.00 FOR PRIORITY.

FREESHIPPING INSURANCE UP TO $100.00 (FROM /USPS) IF YOU USE THE PRIORITY MAILOPTION. I SHIP FIVE DAYS A WEEK, MONDAY THRU FRIDAY, AND ON MOST SATURDAYS(DEPENDING ON MY WORK SCHEDULE) AND ALMOST ALWAYS SHIP THE DAY AFTER PAYMENT ISMADE AND SOMETIMES THE SAME DAY (DEPENDING ON WHAT TIME PAYMENT IS MAKE).

NOMORE INTERNATIONAL SALES PLEASE. I HAVE HAD TOO MANY PROBLEMS AND LOST TOO MUCHMONEY SELLING ANYTHING OUTSIDE THE USA. IF YOU LIVE OUTSIDE THE COUNTRY, IAPOLOGIZE, BUT THERE IS NO WAY TO KEEP TRACK OF STUFF AFTER IT LEAVES THE USAUNLESS THE BUYER IS WILLING TO PAY TWICE AS MUCH FOR SHIPPING THRU S GLOBASERVICES, AND IT AINT WORTH IT. IF YOU offer ON MY STUFF FROM OUTSIDE THE COUNTRYI WILL MOST LIKELY EITHER REMOVE THE offer OR CANCEL THE SALE AFTER THE saleENDS. THE ONLY WAY I MIGHT SELL INTERNATIONALLY IS IF THE BUYER WRITES MEBEFORE THEY offer AND WE AGREE ON CERTAIN STUFF.

JUSTSO THE buyer/BUYER KNOWS, I WON’T LIST COMICS IN NM OR MINT CONDITION. ITCAUSES TOO MANY PROBLEMS WITH SO CALLED “CONDITION EXPERTS.” WHEN I LISTSOMETHING AS VF+ IT’S ALMOST ALWAYS BETTER THAN VF BUT I WON’T SAY IT’S NMBECAUSE OF THESE PEOPLE WHO HAVE DEMANDED MONEY BACK BECAUSE THEIR OPINION ISDIFFERENT THAN MINE. PLEASE DON’T ONLY REFER TO MY DESCRIPTION OF CONDITION INTHE TITLE (I DON’T RELLY GIVE INDIVIDUAL DESCRIPTIONS HERE IN ITEM DESCRIPTIONUNLESS IT’S A SOMEWHAT PRICEY COMIC). PLEASE ALSO LOOK AT PHOTO(S) AND FEELFREE TO ASK ME QUESTIONS. SO… THERE YOU ARE. AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE IS THEOVERSTREET GUIDE TO GRADING COMICS. I TRY TO BE AS CLOSE TO THEIR GRADING ASPOSSIBLE BUT AGAIN, I AM NOT AN EXPERT AND I ASSUME MOST OF THE BUYERS OUTTHERE ARENT EITHER. I AM ALMOST ALWAYS CLOSE BUT SOMETIMES I DO ERR. IF YOUFEEL THIS IS THE CASE AFTER YOU GET YOUR STUFF FEEL FREE TO WRITE ME ABOUT ITAND WE MAY BE ABLE TO COME TO SOME SORT OF COMPROMISE.

IALWAYS COMBINE SHIPPING ON MULTIPLE sale WINS AND NEVER MAKE ANY PROFIT FROMSHIPPING. YOU DON’T HAVE TO WRITE TO ASK ABOUT THIS, JUST WAIT UNTIL ALL THEITEMS YOU ARE offerDING ON END (WITHIN ABOUT THREE OR FOUR DAYS) AND I WILLINVOICE YOU A TOTAL WITH COMBINED SHIPPING. USPS COSTS RECENTLY WENT UP BUT MYSHIPPING COSTS TO THE BUYER DIDN’T. I HAVE ZERO CONTROL OVER WHAT THE POSTOFFICE CHARGES TO SHIP COMICS SO STOP WITH THE LOW DSR’s ON SHIPPING COSTSALREADY. GEEZ…

PAYMENTIS EXPECTED WITHIN THREE DAYS OF sale ENDING (I WILL SEND AN INVOICE EVERYDAY) BUT I WILL WAIT UP TO FOUR DAYS IF YOU ARE offerDING ON ITEMS THAT HAVENTENDED YET OR IF YOU CONTACT ME WITH A VALID REASON FOR WAITING TO PAY. I DO OPEN UNPAID ITEM CASESBECAUSE I HAVE TO PAY WHEN SOMETHING SELLS AND I WON’T BE OUT THAT MONEYIF SOMEONE DOESN’T PAY ME ( JUST CHANGED THEIR POLICY FROM 4 DAYS TO 2 DAYSTO PAY FOR AN ITEM). IF THERE IS ANY ISSUE WITH PAYMENT YOU MUST CONTACT MEWITHIN TWO DAYS AFTER THE sale ENDS.

IAM NOT A COMIC BOOK SHOP OR DEALER. I AM A HOBBIEST/COLLECTOR WHO BUYS COMICS,USUALLY IN LOTS, AND RE-SELLS THE ONES I DON’T PERSONALLY COLLECT OR HAVEDOUBLES OF, ALWAYS AT A GREAT STARTING PRICE. I START ALL MY sales AT THE LOWEST PRICE I A WOULD TAKE ON COMIC ORLOT OF COMICS. SURE, MANY SELLERS START THEIR LISTINGS AT 99 CENTS OF LESSBUT I AM NOT WILLING TO TAKE THAT KIND OF RISK AND HAVE A COMIC SELL FOR ARIDICULUSLY LOW AMOUNT, BUT I ALMOST ALWAYS START MY LISTINGS AT A LOWER PRICETHAN OVERSTREET VALUE OR WHAT COMIC SHOPS AND WHAT MANY SELLERS ARESELLING THEM FOR AT A “BUY IT NOW” PRICE. PLEASE REMEMBER THIS WHEN YOU AREofferDING ON MY STUFF.

ANOTE ABOUT “SMOKE SMELL”: I DO SMOKE, BUT NOT IN MY HOUSE OR AROUND ANY COMICS(I AM NOT ALLOWED TO SMOKE IN MY HOME). THAT SAID, I BUY COMICS IN BULK ANDTURN THEM BACK AROUND AND SELL ON . MY COMICS COME FROM A LOT OF PLACES ANDI AM NOT ALWAYS SURE OF “SMELL” CONDITION AS I REALLY DON’T HOLD THEM UP TO MYFACE AND TAKE A WHIFF. I GET ‘EM, DO A QUICK CONDITION ASSESSMENT (LONGER ONOLD OR VALUABLE COMICS), BAG ‘EM IF THEY NEED TO BE BAGGED, PHOTOGRAPH ‘EM ANDLIST ‘EM. MOST COMICS ARE RESOLD RIGHT AWAY AND BARELY HAVE TIME TO SIT IN MYHOLDING BOXES, ESPECIALLY THE GOOD ONES. SOMETIMES I ONLY HAVE THE COMICS FORTHE ONE WEEK THAT THEY’RE LISTED. I TRY TO LIST ANY MAJOR CONDITION ISSUES INTHE ITEM DESCRIPTION BUT SOMETIMES I MISS SOMETHING. EVERYTHING CAN BE FIXEDWITH JUST A MESSAGE OR TWO.

Iam not a professional comic book grader or an expert on condition. AS I saidearlier I will NOT list any comic in \"Mint\" or \"Near Mint\"condition (unless it comes sealed by the manufacturer) because the condition Isee a comic may be different from yours. I use Overstreet guidelines and what says about grading comic books. If I think a comic is NM or better Iusually list it as “VF+” but sometimes I can be wrong or didn’t check thecomics completely. I strive to err on the side of caution. I have collectedcomics most of my 46 years on this Earth so I might know a thing or two. I do checkeach book I list. When I grade a comic I rarely sell it for the Overstreetvalue of that grade, it is usually much cheaper. The actual condition may notbe as listed. Heck, it might be even better…

Ifyou have an issue about condition after receiving the comic(s) or possibly gotthe wrong item we can handle this in several ways BUT PLEASE CONTACT ME BEFORE YOU OPEN A CASE… Usually I do apartial or full refund but only if the condition is way off from mydescription. Remember, I am not a professional grader. On wrong items I can“make a deal” to avoid the shipping back and forth and still try to get you theright stuff. Sometimes I list something I don’t have anymore. This is a raremistake but I have several thousand comics in inventory and make mistakes sometime. If this is the case I refund everything if you have already paid. My apologiesif this happens. It is NO reason to leave bad response, People make mistakes.

Pleasedon’t write me asking if I can deal outside of because I won’t. I won’tend an sale early to sell to someone who offers me a deal because ofsecurity issues. I won’t break up lots of comics to sell individually. I alsowon’t sell someone an item that has ended. If you wanted the comic you shouldhave offer on it when the sale was still ongoing. Not to worry tho, most of myitems that don’t sell get relisted at the exact same starting cost as they wereto begin with.

Thephotos I use are actual pictures I took of the comic(s) up for sale. Theyare NOT stock photos. Photos are usually taken of comics in the bag so theremay be reflection or price stickers/tape, blurry bags, etc. that are on the bagand not the actual comic (unless otherwise noted in the condition description).I haven’t perfected my photo taking technique yet so I apologize for any not sogood pictures. Any imperfections not already denoted by condition will belisted. If you need to see more photos just write me and ask.

ISHIP ITEMS FOR WHAT IT COSTS ME TO SHIP THEM AND I SHIP BY WEIGHT. I am gettingtired of getting low stars because it costs three bucks to ship one comic. Talkto the USPS bout that stuff please. I have zero control over shipping costs andwon’t take a hit to make shipping cheaper because most of what I sell is under$5, I only really like to ship USPS Priority Mail. It isn’t really thatexpensive and it’s fast. I do offer shipping via “media mail” or “economy” asthe usual first choice because people seem to like a less costly shippingoption and usually don’t mind waiting. I will combine shipping on multiplesale wins but only if these sales end within the TWO days pay period asper rules (if it is going to be longer PLEASE CONTACT ME). I will also ship outside the USA but it’s notcheap. If you’re not familiar with these costs please write me about thembefore you offer. The faster you pay after an sale ends, the faster I get tothe post office to ship the comic(s). I almost always ship THE day I am paid or the very next day, depending on the timepayment is made and my real job work schedule. All my shipping is done thru/PayPal and by USPS, so there is always tracking info.

NOTE ABOUT MEDIA MAIL: The USPS doesn’t considercomic books “media” and they’re not supposed to ship this method BUT I have shipped over 500 orders, 95%of which were sent media, and haven’t had one returned by the USPS.

Itry to package well so the comics don’t move during shipping. All comics willcome bagged and some will be boarded as well. They will also be packaged instiffening cardboard and secured to this cardboard with tape. The bags may notbe usable after shipping because of the way I secure the comics but hey… you’reofferding on the comic book and not the bag. If you are concerned about getting ausable bag from me just write me before you pay and I will include an extra bagor two. If you are buying fewer than a dozen comics, and choose the economyshipping method, they will almost always be shipped in a waterproof shippingenvelope. More than a dozen usually go into a box and are secured with tape, bubble wrap and/or packing peanuts. Priority is shipped in a bubble envelope ora box depending on how many comics you buy.I take extra time and extra expense to secure comics for shippingwhether they’re being shipped Priority or Economy. That said, the USPS usuallytakes better care of priority mail and tends to be more careful handling it.

PAYPAL ONLY PLEASE. I LEAVEresponse RIGHT AFTER AN ITEM IS PAID FOR AND EXPECT response FROM A BUYER ONLYAFTER THEY RECEIVE THE ITEM. response IS KIND OF IMPORTANT TO BOTH BUYERS ANDSELLERS. Idon’t hold response hostage like A LOT sellers on , who won’t give responseto a buyer until the buyer leaves them response. That’s an asshat move rightthere. As far as I am concerned the buyer has fulfilled their obligation to methe minute they pay for an item and it is up to me to fulfill mine by makingsure they get their item fast, packaged well and as described. PLEASE REMEMBER TO LEAVE response WHEN YOUGET YOUR ITEM.

Ifyou have any questions send me a message please.

Thanks,

Overstreet Grading Guide which I use for reference.

MINT(MT) (ONE 9.9-10.0): Near perfect in every way. Only the most subtle bindery orprinting defects are allowed. Cover is flat with no surface wear. Cover inksare bright with high reflectivity and minimal fading. Corners are cut squareand sharp. Staples are generally centered, clean with no rust. Cover isgenerally well centered and firmly secured to interior pages. Paper is suppleand fresh. Spine is tight and flat.

NEARMINT/MINT (NM/MT) (ONE 9.8): A comic book that has enough positive qualities tomake it better than a NM+, but has enough detracting qualities to keep it frombeing a MT 9.9. In most cases the comic book has a better appearance than aNM+.

NEARMINT (NM) (ONE 9.2-9.7): Nearly perfect with only minor imperfections allowed. This grade should have no corner of impact creases, stress marks should bealmost invisible, and bindery tears must be less than 1/16 inch. A couple ofvery tiny color flecks, or a combination of the above that keeps the book frombeing perfect, where the overall eye appeal is less than Mint drops the bookinto this grade. Only the most subtle binging and/or printing defects allowed.Cover is flat with no surface wear. Cover inks are bright with highreflectivity and minimum of fading. Corners are cut square and sharp with everso slight blunting permitted. Staples are generally centered, clean with norust. Cover is well centered and firmly secured to interior pages. Paper issupple and like new. Spine is tight and flat.

VERYFINE/NEAR MINT (VF/NM) (ONE 9.0): A comic book that has enough positivequalities to make it better than a VF+, but has enough detracting qualities tokeep it from being a NM-. In most cases the comic book has a better appearancethan a VF+.

VERYFINE (VF) (ONE 7.5-8.5): An excellent copy with outstanding eye appeal. Sharp, bright and clean with supple pages. Cover is relatively flat with almost nosurface wear. Cover inks are generally bright with moderate to highreflectivity. Staples may show some discoloration. Spine may have a couple ofalmost insignificant transverse stress lines and is almost completely flat. Abarely unnoticeable ¼ inch crease is acceptable, if color is not broken. Pagesand covers can be yellowish/tannish (at the least, but no brown and willusually be off-white to white).

FINE/VERYFINE (FN/VF) (ONE 7.0): A comic book that has enough positive qualities to makeit better than a FN+, but has enough detracting qualities to keep it from beinga VF-. In most cases, the comic book has a better appearance than a FN+.

FINE(FN) (ONE 5.5-6.5): An above-average copy that shows minor wear but is still relativelyflat and clean with no significant creasing or other serious defects. Eyeappeal is somewhat reduced because of slight surface wear and possibly a smalldefect such as a few slight cross stress marks on spine or a very slight spinesplit (1/4”). A Fine condition comic book appears to have been read a few timesand has been handled with moderate care. Compared to a VF, cover inks arebeginning to show a significant reduction in reflectivity, but it is still ahighly collectible and desirable book. Pages and interior covers may be tan,but pages must still be fairly supple with no signs of brittleness.

VERYGOOD/FINE (VG/FN) (ONE 5.0): A comic book that has enough positive qualities tomake it better than a VG+, but has enough detracting qualities to keep it frombeing a FN-. In most cases the comic book has a better appearance than a VG+.

VERYGOOD (VG) (ONE 3.5-4.5): The average used comic book. A comic in this gradeshows some wear, can have a reading or center crease or a moderately rolledspine, but has not accumulated enough total defects to reduce eye appeal to thepoint that it is not a desirable copy. Some discoloration, fading and evenminor soiling is allowed. As much as a ¼’ triangle can be missing out of thecorner or edge. A missing square piece (1/8” by 1/8”) is also acceptable. Storestamps, name stamps, arrival dates, initials, etc. have no effect on thisgrade. Cover and interior pages can have some minor tears and folds and thecenterfold may be detached at one staple. The cover may also be loose, but notcompletely detached. Common bindery and printing defects do not affect grade.Pages and inside covers may be brown but not brittle. Tape should never be usedfor comic book repair; however, many VG condition comics have minor tape repair.

GOOD/VERY GOOD (GD/VG) (ONE3.0): A comic book that has enough positive qualities to keep it better that aGD+, but has enough detracting qualities to keep it from being a VG-. In mostcases the comic book has a better appearance than a GD+.

GOOD (GD) (ONE 1.8-2.5): Acopy in this grade has all pages and covers, although There may be small piecesmissing inside; the largest piece allowed from front or back cover is a ½”triangle or square ¼” by ¼”. Books in this grade are commonly creased, scuffed, abraded, soiled and may have as much as a 2” spine split, but are stillcompletely readable. Often, paper quality is low but not brittle. Coverreflectivity is low, and in some cases, completely absent. This grade can havea moderate accumulation of defects, but still maintains its basic structuralintegrity.

FAIR/GOOD (FR/GD) (ONE1.5): A comic book that has enough positive qualities to keep it better than aFR+, but has enough detracting qualities to keep if from being a GD-. In mostcases the comic book has a better appearance than a FR+.

FAIR (FR) (ONE 1.0): A copyin this grade is usually soiled, ragged, and possibly unattractive. Creases, tears and/or folds are prevalent. Spine may be split up to 2/3rds its entirelength. Staples may be gone. Up to 1/10th of the front cover may be missing. These books are readable, although soiling, staining, tears, markings or chunksmissing may moderately interfere with reading the complete story. Somecollectors consider this the lowest collectible grade because comic books inlesser condition are usually defaced and/or brittle. Very often paper qualityis low and may have slight brittleness around the edges, but not in the centralportions of the pages. Comic books in this grade may have a clipped coupon, solong as it is noted along side of the nomenclature, i.e.: “Fair (1.0) CouponClipped.” Valued at 50-70% of good.

POOR (PR) (ONE 0.5): Mostcomic books in this grade have been sufficiently degraded to the point thatcopies may have extremely severe stains, missing staples, brittleness, mildewor moderate to heavy cover abrasion to the point that some cover inks areindistinct/absent. Comic books in this grade can have small chunks missing andpieces out of pages. They may have been defaced with paints, varnishes, glues, oil, indelible markers or dyes. Covers may be split the entire length of thebook, but both halves must be present and basically still there with somechunks missing. A page(s) may be missing as long as it is noted along side ofthe nomenclature; i.e.: “POOR (0.5) 2nd Page Missing.” Value depends on extentof defects, but would average about 1/3 of GOOD.
