I have owned this figurine for many years. I collect European nouveau deco women and I have never seen her anywhere else or in books. When I purchased her from an Antiques dealer I was told she is from France and her name is \"The Wind Bride\". She is 9-1/2 inches tall and 7 inches wide from hand to hand. The very interesting thing about her is she was made to lean forward 5 inches from the front tip to the back of the base. She has the appearance of blowing in the wind. She is holding her dress sides up to become wings. She is wearing a pantaloon to below the knee that is hard to see in the picture. She has a very beautiful detailed face. There are notches all the way around the edge of the dress to look like fringe.
The wonderful thing is there are no chips or cracks and she is in great condition. When I took the pictures I noticed two tiny black dots on the back of the left elbow. There is no makers mark on her; however, there is an impressed circle on the back towards the base. Shipping is free in the United States and I pack very well. Thanks for looking!
