Rare and beautiful! Set of 12 antique Italian organdy goblet coasters - the loveliest figurals in shadow work embroidery, with picot embellished edges. Circa 1930. There are 6 different scenes, two of each, including many prancing and strutting deer, as well as some striking foliage. Gorgeous.

They measure about 6 inches across. The organdy is the palest mint green, and the embroidery and picot decorations are creamy white.

Wonderful condition. Recently laundered, clean and bright. I note a pinhole on one, and some faint discoloration to another (see last photo). Possibly some faint discoloration on another piece or two, but extremely minor. These look amazing.

Very old, very unusual and veryfabulous.
