UNUSUAL NOVELTY STERLING SILVER MINI PLAYING CARD BOX 1899 VICTORIAN ANTIQUE:

A very unusual Victorian sterling silver mini playing card box complete with cards. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1899 with the makers marks being MH&Co. It has been beautifully designed and gilded inside. It is in superb condition being freefrom dings splits holes and repairs - all playing cards are present (I do not know if they are original as I am no expert but I suspect they are as finding some to fit would be near impossible). It measures a fraction under 2 inches (4.7cms) tall by 1.5 inches (3.5cms) by almost 0.75 inches wide and weighs 40 grams including the cards. A very rare piece.
