UNUSUAL PAIR 2 EARLY CHINESE FLAMBE GOURD SHAPE BOTTLE W/SHIWAN SHEKWAN IMMORTAL SIGNED Description

Welcome to my sale - Up for your consideration is this unusual pair of early Chinese, flambe glaze and Shiwan or Shekwan mudman bottles. The bulbous, gourd shaped bottles are in a green flambe or drip glaze each with a reddish colored ribbon around the mid section. Each also has a mudman sitting on the bottle, each believed to be one of the eight immortals. Both bottles have character marks on the front, possibly indicating what was inside such as rice wine? Both have the same, unidentified character maker mark on the bottom as shown. The bottles do appear to have some age to them but exact age is unknown.

CONDITION - The bottles are in fine, vintage, pre-owned condition! Some normal age, both have remnants of the seal around the opening, there is a hairline crack on the neck of one bottle and the hand of one of the immortals is broken off on the other.

SIZE - The bottles stands approximately 3\" tall, 3\" long, 1 1/2\" wide.
