This unusual Victorian silver pencil measures 105mm (4\") extended x 70mm (3\") closed and weighs 17 grams. It is marked S. Mordan & Co to the extending shaft and dates to the late 1800\'s and is an unusual novelty torpedo shape. It is sold for spares and repairs only as the neither the telescopic action or the lead propelling mechanism work and there are dents to the body, it would however be worth the restoration as this shape of propelling pencil by Mordan is not all that common.International buyers are always welcome to this sale.
