Us 1772 Continental Currency Nine Pence Pennsylvania Afine 1772 For Sale
This is an Original American Revolution eranote ("Continental Currency")from Pennsylvania. Denomination: "NINE PENCE". Dated "the 3rd Day of April, Anno Domini 1772". Size: approx. 2 1/4" X 2 3/4" . Color: Heavy tan/brown paper, w/Black over-printing. Hand-signed & numbered in brown ink. Note is in fairly Nice Condition overall, with aheavy horizontal "fold-line" at center + light wear, "foxing"/staining, several Tiny "pin-holes", etc. Note grades aFine or slightly better. Front side has a Nice decorative border surrounding a statement of release, with a Logo representing--I presume--the Colony of Pennsylvania; while the back/reverse side has the words "Printed by D. HALL, and W. SELLERS" at the center. Note still has lots of detail, especially the front side! LOW beginning offer! ! Buyer pays $2.45S&H, extra for postage outside the U.S. ***Please see scans.
