--> This is an old style, brass US Army Infantry insignia from Company L of the 15th Infantry, with a curved horn, which dates from the Spanish-American War. It has a single screwback post on the back, with an old style nut. The insignia measures 2 inches wide.
CONDITION: The brass is aged, dark and tarnished. The screwback post on the back is bent at a slight angle. There are two sharp indexing pins on the back of the pin, put there to keep the pin from turning. These are bent down (see pictures).
