This US Army WW2 GI HBT COMBAT FATIGUE CAP is in very good condition, with a service number stamping at the interior crown that goes through to the top of the crown, small surface nicks at the middle front hatband and the right front bill, some very small, hardly noticeable surface nicks at the top left crown, a rectangular area of whitish soiling at the middle back hatband, a small spot of brownish soiling at the upper back left crown, two very small spots of whitish soiling at the lower right crown, and with some light scattered brownish soiling and age wear evident (most pictured). Otherwise, the cap is in fine shape, with absolutely no rips, holes, tears, or other damage to the tough HBT 100% cotton construction, which retains a great amount of the original rich, dark OD color. It\'s stamped with the service number \"C2104\" and faintly marked a \"Size 7\" at the interior crown, cut in the classic engineer style, and sports dual OD finished metal ventilation grommets at each side of the crown.
