For sale here is a great looking Civil War Era McClellan Saddle Cavalry Bit. The bit is in good condition with some light pitting that is not active. The bit includes two U.S brass rosettes. There is also an additional piece of chain that includes a padded leather section and hooks at each end. One of the hooks has been bent. Please look at the pictures as they are adequate and should answer most of the questions that you have. I am not an expert on these, and if i have made a mistake, please let me know, and i will correct the listing. At any rate, this is a great looking original piece that will work well in any collection!
