Up for sale is a vintage/antique US Forest Service Compass, made by Leitz Co, in very good condition and from what I can tell is in good functioning condition too.

Unless I\'m just being the worst search engine user ever, I can\'t seem to find any background info on this thing. It was found in the estate my partner and I have been dealing with, and really feels like a nice piece of equipment. It\'s not too heavy but still feels solid, the glass looks great (seems thick) and the only negative thing about it is that it doesn\'t click shut (missing whatever component on the lid that locks it to the base).
