This listing is for one (1) Antique, US Glass, Bulls Eye and Daisy Spooner with Gold Trim and Circles. The shape is often confused with the sugar. The pattern was originally introduced as Newport by US Glass in 1909. It features large notched circles with a star design between. The rim on the spooner has large scallops creating a crown. The circles are painted gold which glows outward along the radiant points. It\'s a fantastic piece of Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG).
The spooner measures 4 1/4\" high, 4 1/2\" in diameter and weighs 1 lb 1 oz.
Both pieces available are free of chips, cracks and fleabites. There are no notable marks from use or storage. The foot shows slight shelf wear. The designs are sharp. The gold circles and rim are excellent though there are some light marks and fading. The glass is wonderfully clear and free of cloudiness with a light glow under UV light. It will make a great addition to an EAPG collection and be a wonderful addition to the curio.
