US Navy sailors, Seabees, air crews, and UDT men of WW2 were issued a rugged 5\" blade fighting and utility knife known as the Mark 1.This US Navy WW2 PAL RH-35 MK. 1 FIGHTING KNIFE is in good condition,withthe blade having been \"cold blued\" at some point after the war,some sharpening to the blade edge, some light scattered pitting at each side of the blade, a chip, a crack, and a separation to the left side of the upper handle spacers, and with some overall age wear evident (ALL pictured). Otherwise, the knife is in fine shape, with no other damage. Most interestingly, it features a 5 1/8\" clip point bowie blade, sports a stacked leather washer handle, and is stamped \"U.S.N. / MARK I\" at the ricasso, along with its maker and model, \"PAL RH-35\", marked at the reverse ricasso.
