US Navy WWII green naval aviation working uniform, named, pilot wings:

This sale consists of a naval aviation green working uniform (jacket and pants) identified to a pilot JD Owens. The jacket features embroidered bullion aviator wings and Lieutenant JG braid. The uniform is in good overall condition though the jacket shows some wear along the edges of the button front, skirt, and sleeves as shown in the pictures and a couple spots on the back. The jacket is named in the pocket and dated April 1943.
I haven\'t done any in-depth research into the details of the pilot\'s service, but have found his name (John D Owens), serial number, birth year and date of service entry in the Navy officer rolls which would be a good jumping off point, and which I will share with the buyer.
