In 2012, the U.S. Postal Service commemorates the bicentennial of the War of 1812, a two-and-a-half year conflict with Great Britain that many Americans viewed as the nation's “Second War of Independence.” Celebrate the release with this full sheet of The War of 1812: USS Constitution (Forever®) stamps.The stamps feature the oldest known painting of the USS Constitution by Michele Felice Cornè, circa 1803. The souvenir sheet selvage evokes the times with the color and texture of a contemporary map of the war and a portrait of President James Madison by Gilbert Stuart. One pictorial postmark and 5 standard round daters, are applied to strike all 20 stamps. Both show the date and location of issue: August 18, 2012, Boston, MA 02205.Pre-order item

Combined Shipping Discount

The combined shipping discount can be applied only on the items showing up in the same invoice. Each eligible additional item will be charged an additional of USD $0.10 as the shipping fee.
