United States World War II USAAF 5th Army Air Force Flight Jacket Squadron patch. The dimensions are 5\" in diameter. This squadron patch is of a red, white, yellow cotton thread, blue wool and white cotton material construction. It features the number five in the center in yellow with a five pointed falling star in white and red in the background with five additional stars in white all on a blue wool backing. The reverse shows the stitching form the front on a white cotton. This squadron patch is in excellent original condition showing vibrant color and no mothing of the wool.
