Otherwise, the canteen is in fine shape, with no other damage to the black enamel construction. Most interestingly, it\'s \"U.S.\" marked in white at bottom, along with its maker and date, \"VOLLRATH / 1942\", and boasts the original flat top scored black plastic cap.
