Up for offer is a pair of bronze/copper bookends made with material salvaged from the United States Navy frigate (built 1797) USS Constitution (Old Ironsides) during her 1927 restoration. These souvenir items made with materials salvaged from the ship were sold to help pay for the restoration. The bookends each have one spoke repaired as seen.
