This is an original old vintage and ULTRA RARE WWII 1940s era Hawaiian men\'s shirt made by Kawaiihua . I have only found one other style Kawaihau 1940s shirt that was topless. . I would guess this is an early version that was eventually changed to the version where she has her top on. I would guess this is the one that everyone wants :) There are no holes or tears. I believe the material is Rayon. It has the original hawaiian wood buttons. No missing buttons. The shirt is a slight off white or eggshell. The photos i took used a flash and are a little whiter looking in the photos than the actual shirt color. It is a size medium which is a great size. This shirt has everything going for it ...1940s , nude Hula Dancer in a pin-up style , a size medium and great condition.
This came directly out of an estate sale 2 days ago and the owner was a WWII soldier. You may never have another chance to find a Kawaihau shirt with a topless Hula Girl :) a truly rare shirt. the shirt does not have a musty smell and i dont think it came from a house that was smoked in. i have not touched the shirt at all or cleaned it. if you look just under the last button down you will see a little spot. it isnt too dark and i havent tried to do anything to it. I am not an expert in removing spots so im selling it exactly how i found it.
