This is a very rare example of an early wall telephone from 1880 with a Blake transmitter and early wooden receiver. The box is beautifully made from mahogany. It has a primitive switch hook and call button on the right hand side and seems to have the original cord.

The telephone was bought in the 1980\'s from a museum that was closing down. It looks to be complete and in very good condition for its age.
