This sale is for an Ultra Rare Vintage“Cecile” Music Automata Doll in an Acrylic Resin Case that sits atop an OakMusic Box, made in Japan.

The music plays “You Are the Sunshine of MyLife” while Cecile moves her head and arms and the birds chirps and moves hisbill and tail.

The acrylic resin case has a few surface scratches,but everything else is in excellent condition and plays beautifully.

“Cecile” is designed so that her head, hands and the accompanying bird are set in motion by the tension of the music box spring.

There is a gold plaque on the front that reads “CECILE”…
A windup key and on/off button are on the side of the music box and the bottom of the base has 4 little wooden feet…
This amazing piece measures 14 ½” tall x 11 ¼” wide x 11 ¼” deep and weighs over 5 lbs.…
