For sale is a superb quality WWI period Trench Art Lidded Pot.

Fantastically decorated to the front entitled Armistice 1918 and pipes to the reverse.

The cover is made from German shell casings stamped Marz 1917, the finial has a crown embossed and looks to be an officers button.

The base is stamped AEG Jan 1916 St 144.

Measuring 15cm tall x 9cm wide.

The condition is good with minimal wear.
