A unique album containing a collection of 12 late c19th antique Chinese pith/rice paper watercolours of finely detailed Emperor & Empress and Courtiers in traditional dress. The pictures have been mounted into a 1930s leather and card bound album, there are personal inscriptions on the inside pages. The spine of the album is embossed with the title \'Chinese Pictures’Details:

Condition:Paintings are generally in a good condition. Some paintings have some small losses and wear associated with their age, please see the photos. The paper between the photos has been marked in some places after being in close proximity to the paintings for so long, although this does not appear to have affected the paintings. The spine of the album has wear and losses and is loose along the rims. There is wear to the cover of the album. The front cover has come away from the main spine but is attached. The pages holding the paintings are attached. Care required turning the pages due to age of the album (please see all the photos)
Delivery: Delivery is with the Royal Mail track and sign service. If the item is larger or heavier alternative signed and track delivery providers may be used. All items are carefully packed to ensure a safe delivery.
