This is for a very cool uniaue item. A cast iron piece. Which has the form of a wooden trunk or box. With large strap hinges and oak slats. With four paw feet on the corners. I\'ve never seena nything like it. The interior and underneath are black finish. While the exterior and lid have a bronze finish. It appears to be a match safe or holder. It has inside stamped England. And underneath it has a English Registry mark. Though I cannot read what the number is. But I would say its from the early 1900\'s. Great desk or table item fro conversation. It measures approx. 3-3/8\" by 2-1/2\".
