I found this collectible vintage ANRI bar accessory hidden away in the back of a cupboard beneath the family room bar at a recent estate sale. The wooden base measures 9\" across and 1 5/8\" thick. Overall height is 8 1/2\". The four mechanical Anri stoppers are included.
Selling with a low start and .The most unusual is the 5\" pourer fellow with the black hat. He is a music box that plays \"How Dry I Am\". Well it does play but I only got it to work a couple of times. I wiggled the key and kind of shook him and with some patience he played it through twice. I suspect it is just a bit cruddy inside, but I could not figure out a way to clean it - so I am leaving him alone.
The man that tips his hat is 6\" tall overall. He is operated with a pull string.
The 4 3/4\" man in the gray hat is lever operated and he works fairly well.
The 5 1/2\" green hat man lifts his glass with the lever but his jaw does not close as I suspect it should.
The three full figures all have the \"ANRI Italy\" silver and green sticker on the bottom of their corks.
The center brass finial or handle has a London coat-of-arms.
The three bar utensils measure 4 1/4\" to 5 1/2\". The enamel coats-of-arms are Norwich, Oxford and Cambridge.
