The Plaskon case and all parts are original. This 1937 radio boasts the factory shine and there are no chips, cracks or scratches. The black back is also original and perfect. The Plaskon case is a lovely cream color and it has a cute red pilot light that turns on when you turn on the radio. You can see why they called this \"The Clockette\" because the speaker area looks so much like a clock. This is as perfect as can be. I believe that it probably had some restoration at some time because it sounds great and pulls in many station with no hum. I did have to hold the antenna wire so I recommend splicing in some new wire to get the best reception.
