Master craftsman who created this highly unique example of Arts & Crafts metalwork employed heavy-gauge copper for the main body of the box which is hand-hammered and entirely covered with hammer pings. The box’s hinged lid is attached by riveted bronze strap hinges that are hand-cut and hammered. Bronze riveted strapping around top. Snap bronze riveted closure. Entirely lined in wood.
