unusual 19th sliver and glass vinaigrette:

I\'m selling this unusual and pretty sliver and glass vinaigrette which I would guess dates from the early 19th century, maybe 1815 to 1840. Hard to tell the exact age because I can\'t find any marks on it. It\'s made of glass, a white metal which is probably silver and gilded white metal, again probably silver gilt, but I can\'t emphatically say it is silver as there are no hallmarks. Condition: good for its age but the pierced grill of the vinagrette is damaged (see photographs). One very shallow small chip on the base. It\'s a pretty little piece of interest to collectors of vinaigrettes. Size: i inch long by .75 of an inch wide and .75 0f an inch tall.
