This is an unusual and well carved lacquered figure of a crossed legged Daruma (Bodhidharma). I particularly like the gold mackie eyes which seem to stare at you.It is in good overall condition with a few chips to the lacquer expected in a carving of this age.The himotoshi are well carved making this a nice quality piece.
