Unusual Japanese/Chinese early 20th-century (circa 1920) antique silver holder
A silver candlestick holder or possibly an incense stick holder.
Rectangular tapering column, on a spreading foot and with a widequatrefoiltray.
Stamped on the base with a chopmark(增寶).
It is made of high grade silver. The silver has been acid tested and guaranteed to be .900 fineness and above.
It has no other personal inscription. No erasure or any alteration.
DATE:circa 1920
DIMENSION: Base: 10cm x 5.2cm. Height: 15.7cm (approx.)
WEIGHT:302g (loaded)
CONDITION:It is in good condition without damage, only minor scratches and tarnish but no obvious dents. No splits or repair. As with all silver candlesticks the base is loaded for stability.
