A charming and rather unusual late 19thC Gotha, Thuringia, German figural group of a couple. The man holding a goat whilst the goat plays a clarinet, the woman sitting holding a ring which a bird is perched on and at the base a clothed monkey playing a recorder type instrument. Marked to base.

Condition is overall very good. Goats horns have been restored, some losses to the foliage on the base. Nothing unusual about this type of loss. Hat has some difference in colour but doesn\'t look to have been over painted.

Measures approx 16cm high.

Base not included. Just for display.

I do not make money on Postage/Shipping fees… Fees are Actual Postage Cost plus cost of packing materials...I re-use boxes in the interest of recycling and to keep costs down but not excluding, nor limited to, bought in bubble wrap, parcel wrap, polystyrene packing kernels, plastic sealed bags, jiffy bags, bought in pizza boxes and special size boxes, the real killer is parcel tape.
