English Victorian heavy articulated brooch of an unusual design. Yellow metal (probably brass) with old style hinged pin and \'c\' clasp, the pin extends just beyond the width of the brooch.Measures approx 5cm x 3cm and weighs 17.7g. In good, vintage condition with original patina. At first glance the central \'attachment\' appears to be damaged at the bottom (see photo 5), but the edges are rounded off, so I\'m not sure if this just part of the design.
