A wonderful antique English Inkwell or Inkstand dating to the late Victorian era.The stand has a leather underside and two integral handles with leather inset under the brass ball decoration.The crystal inkwell is without damage and has a hinged brass lid, of course what makes this piece is the magical cast Lizard on top with tiny glass eyes, both still intact.A most unusual desk-top accessory.
