This is an unusual vintage Easter bunny. Probably German, he’s solid with a surface like that you sometimes see on the oldest German Nativity camels: it is rather a flocking over clay. He comes wearing an old lavender satin bow which may not be original, but looks cute. Bottom is dated 1947, but I cannot say if that is accurate as it was so marked when I got it from an estate. It does seem to be right based on the look and feel of this old bunny. About 4 ¾’ tall, in remarkably good condition without chips. Some of the color worn off one blue eye, which is just paint. Add him to your collection: you probably won’t find another like him!
