This 11.5-inch (OAL) plane has a body of brass, with adjustable steel blade holders. It is marked in 2 places: JIFFY...Chalmers Patent 400xxx(illegible.) It is probably an English or Canadian patent.

The knob and handle are of a light-colored wood, and the handle is broken in the usual place, but poorly repaired. Condition is good, noting that the blade(s) are missing. It needs a good cleaning, and a new home. (You could be the only tool collector in your town to own one of these!!)
