Here\'s a wholly unusual variant of the Grandmothers Flower Garden quilt that one might say is also a variant of an Around the World pattern or Field of Diamonds. Measuring 83\" x 70\" and all hand quilted at 9 SPI, she does though need some TLC. Specifically, I count 4 patterned hexagons that have frayed (see two of them in picture #4), ad well as 12 beige hexagons outlining the center diamond that have frayed or show weakness (see, for example picture #5). For a quilter of even modest ability this should be, I think, an easy repair. Any variation in the background white that you see in my pictures, by the way, is due solely to poor lighting and shadows.
