Description Unusually large Shelf-type Palstave.
A very large bronze Leviathan Transitional Shelf Type looped palstave axehead, midribbed variant, with characteristically shallow septum and low-profile flanges.
Length 21.5 cms (8.5 ins). Weight 708 grams.
Condition: Very Fine, complete and intact, with light surface pitting in areas.
